Adding a store owner is necessary for a multi-vendor business because it allows each store owner to have complete control over their respective store's operations, pricing, and delivery options. By giving store owners access to their own dashboard, they can manage their store without relying on the platform owner or admin, which ultimately saves time and increases efficiency.
Additionally, adding store owners helps to establish a sense of ownership and accountability, which can lead to better performance and customer satisfaction.
To add store owners manually, please follow these simple steps:
- In the admin dashboard navigate to the "Users" tab on the top side of the dashboard.
- Select “Store Owner”, now Click on the "Add New User" button located at the top right side of the screen.
- A new screen will appear. Enter the necessary information for the new store owner, including their name, email address, and password.
- Once all the necessary information has been entered, click on the "Create User" button located at the bottom of the screen.
- The new store owner will now be added to the admin dashboard and can log in using their credentials.
To assign a store to the Store Owner you have to follow the simple steps-
When a store owner is assigned to a specific store, they become responsible for managing the products, inventory, and customer orders for that store. This ensures that there is a clear point of contact for customers in case of any issues or concerns.
Follow the steps mentioned below-
- Click on the "Users" tab and select "Store Owners".
- Find the Store Owner you want to manage and click on "Manage Owner's Store".
- Click on "Manage" to access the store's settings and make changes as necessary.
- Now select the store that you want to manage from the list of the stores created by you.
- Once you have made the desired changes, click on "Update" to save the changes.
